Simple Voice Chat

What it is for on Indigo

Talking to whoever is near you, without a separate app. It connects to the same address as the game; nothing to configure.

Press the voice chat key (default V) to open the menu: pick your microphone and speakers, choose push to talk or voice activation, and set volumes.
Voice is proximity based. People near you hear you; the further away, the quieter. Out of range means silent.
Groups (in the same menu) let a set of players hear each other anywhere on the map, like a call. Handy for a build project or a long trip.
Player icons show who is talking. You can mute individual players from the menu.
Everyone with the pack has it. There is nothing to install for either side.

The server relays voice on the same hostname as the game. If the game connects, voice works.
If nobody hears you: open the menu with V, check the microphone, and check that push to talk is not bound to a key you are not pressing.
